I'm sure you realise I had no intent to hype his product...At first I did not even notice it.

I just look for information wherever I can find it and occasionally pass it on to others.

< Everyone here is trying to get better and make more money.
Working together makes the task easier, but that doesn't mean everyone blindly
agreeing.

True,I never follow anything blindly.

<Dissention, discussion, debate------THAT is helpful.
Don't think I posess a thin skin, for I don't, nor does anyone here.....gggg>

I don't think this is really true, Nemer.

While it is the optimum idea and would enhance the fine tuning of a system, it just doesnt work that way all the time.
The reason is the egos get tied up in a system so that the system is the ego...so if you question the system , you question the ego.

I have seen this happen time and time again. And it doesn't just hold true with "systems". Is is true for TA, FA, trades...macro economic views..micro economic views... ...etc etc...

Once people delink their egos from their trading there is more possibility for learning and finetuning overall trading. However, until one can delink their ego from their trading..there will always be a blind spot..and that blind spot can cause a lot of damage AND can keep one from realizing one's maximum potential.

I could list name after name after name after name ad nausem...where I have seen this happen just on SI. It isn't an anomaly...it is the norm....

the anomaly is one that can handle it without taking it personally...and becoming a better trader because of synthesizing all the information and looking at ALL of it from a distance

Pure coincidence? I happened to pick a point to write OEX puts and it co-incided approx. with your 463 support. This time I just went with a market order, I'm not going to pull my hair out again today.
