HAZ, nice theory but if it is true they have been working for many years to implement the keep it secret strategy. They never update on any well, any where. This does not mean they don't have a policy of oprating as quietly as possible because giving updates on most wells would call attention to the very ones one wanted to keep quiet.

I think the risk of being taken over at a minimal premium are very great. I will vote against management on every issue including their choice of an auditor. Ranger just does not get it when it comes to shareholder relations. The new N.S. interest in 204-14 & 15 are in an important hot area. Of course this sort of thing takes years. RGO insist Laird well is still drilling. Not sure how one confirms this since Canada unlike Australia does not require weekly driling reports.

Personaly I believe everyone should be free to do business with any county. There should be no most favored nation or boycott B.S. The public should be informed where things are made and that they may have been made by kids or political prisoners or by a country that may produce and use weapons of mass destruction. (notice I did not just say producene that includes the U.S. and many others). But now the company that will not provide shareholders with info on its drilling status in the N.W.T. may announce it is going to have a contract to develop an oil field in Iraq. This has already been announced in Iraq. I hope this reallyis of significant commercial iterest to RGO since otherwise it will just generate a p.r problem and perhaps some sort of stupid legal retaliation from the U.S.

Is this just a clever move to make RGO unavailable to U.S. companies seeking to buy out RGO? Once RGO has a legal contract with Iraq does that alone create a legal barrier to acqusition by a U.S. co?

HAZ, have to admire RGO for doing all it can to increase its potential by looking to the future when sanctions are no longer in place against IRAQ.

Additional news today indicated that many Canadian cos and even Canadian Oxy are legally in IRAQ looking for post sanction deals and this activity is legal as long as no contracts are signed.
