And when Friday’s closing bell clanged, the Nasdaq Composite Index managed to finish about even for the week, ending up 34.54% YTD (vs. up 34.46% YTD a week ago). However, neither the Contest median, up 65.33% YTD (vs. up 66.21% YTD a week ago), nor the the Nasdaq Biotech Index, up 62.16% YTD (vs. up 63.54% YTD a week ago), were able to fully make up the week’s earlier losses. Thanks in part to ANAC, RKRW’s portfolio picked up a few more percent points, closing Friday with a 169.92% YTD gain. Second place ROBO’s portfolio showed a smaller gain for the week, closing up 139.82% YTD, while BLADE’s portfolio, up 119.24% YTD, slipped into third place. At Friday's close, 36 of the 39 Contest portfolios were still in the black with 20 of the 39 beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost for the week. Portfolio adjustments: None Have a wonderful winter weekend biotechies!
