yeah, Dad sent that to me as well. We have had a lot of ice out here for the past week. This vast cooling caused by global warming is not having a desirable effect on my plumerias.

Just returned from a short trip to Chehalem Valley for my mom's 80th birthday. That part of Oregon rarely has snow in December, but we had a bit this year. Yesterday's lows were below 10 degrees, which is as cold as I can remember, though I see in the history books that we got down to -5 in 1972. Guess I was too busy bundling up to notice the temp back then. Mom's cousins from Whitehall, Montana related some news of -48F without accounting for windchill. Brrrrrr !
