I am sorry if I gave the wrong impression about thin prep slides.
My understanding is the AccuCell can read either type of slide, but since the thin prep are easier to read than the conventional slides, then the results should be better with the thin prep system....in either case you need a cytologist and hopefully one using the Accumen system.
Just because you are using the thin prep system, it does not mean that you would not want to have the Accumed system as it provides a tracking of the slide and increases productivity and quality control and quality assurance.
Hope that clarifies the situation.
I bought some ACMI today.....must be tax selling.
