Ed, regarding l_l, After that last criticism of Nest I'm guessing he just can't help himself. If Google doesn't make it it isn't any good. That one didn't even make any sense.

I'm following some others here and putting him on ignore. His posts are nothing but sound and fury signifying nothing.

Ed - I thought I responded to this earlier - but here is a sample of what TI is putting out in this area (note: there are a ton of other companies pumping out these kits - cos they want to sell the chips)- Qualcom, TI, Intel, Broadcom, Samsung etc. etc......)

This TI development kit contains 6 different BTLE sensors - including temp. for $25.00
Cos TI wants to be the supplier to industry - they have built the mobile software and robust API's etc.
