I believe it was more OPEC than Carter that gave us the higher rates and inflation.

It wasn't that long after the Iranian Revolution that Reagan came in. I don't remember him doing much about Iran.

His only move was to support Iraq against Iran in their war...

Carter got peace between Israel and Egypt which has been the most stabilizing thing to happen in the Middle East in the last 50 years.
