The 5C is not the "mid range" any more than the 4s is the low range.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with you on that Doren. Let's examine the first paragraph of the story:

Apple ( AAPL) iPhone demand remains strong overall, with sales of the company's high-end iPhone 5S
smartphone more than offsetting weak demand for the midrange iPhone 5C, says Susquehanna Financial
Group analyst Chris Caso.

This is the only place in the story where "range" is mentioned. I believe it to mean "price range", you seem
to think it means otherwise. As long as Apple arranges the iPhone by price ( store.apple.com ) and sells
them by price then it seems to me that referring to "high-end iPhone 5S" and "midrange iPhone 5C" is
perfectly proper and is common parlance.
