TWTR is losing money... a 40 billion dollar company. FB cap is close to 142 billion, with a PE of almost 150. Feels like 1999.... déjà vu all over again.

BTW, $VIX bounced later in the day (without the market declining) - but earlier in the day it printed the lowest level since last March, and prior to that - 2007. Playing with potential support.... but if it aims to test the 2005 - 2007 lows, there may still be room to go.

Interesting anomaly on TWTR.

With the stock at 69.80, the Jan 60 put (1/17/14) is 1.50 bid 1.55 asked, 899 contracts traded 2 hrs after the market open.

The Jan 80 call (1/17/14), roughly equidistant from current market, is 2.40 bid 2.45 asked, 26,700 contracts traded.

Option traders fully in the bull camp.
