To those on the bullish side of the bet:

LSI Dec 25 calls selling for 1/16 - could pick up the equivalent of 10,000 shares for only $600 - only got a week and a half though. A little enticing though - kind of like playing the lottery, small outlay for a small chance to win big.

With everybody hating tech stocks, maybe we've got alot of the selling out of the way over the last couple days - NASDAQ down over 50 points in two days - thats over 3%. Looked like some strength coming back into the market in last 1/2 hour.

I'm have fun sitting on worthless Jan 45 (figure good tax loss for next year) and April 35 calls - was waiting for that bounce to $27 to sell the 35s, but looks like I'll be waiting for awhile now. Think I'll starting writing covered calls and use the proceeds to accumulate more stock at these levels.

On that new capital equipment from SVG - if they can't put together designs that take advantage of their current high-end chips, why do they need to move to .18 micron? Just a thought - remembering how the CEO was saying that chip advancement is outpacing design possibilities.

Aha! The Slicks ARE heard from... my earlier post with a couple of subtle digs at the investorys of the bullish Lion persuasion was, perhaps, mildly premature.. Now about this "Spin" --- Is "Someone" practicing up? --- I heard there is a forthcoming opening for a "spokesperson" in D.C...something to do about answering an indictment by the Special Prosecutor... Nah! no chance.. TSO

But the mangy bears like the weakening trend....

And one day they will huff and puff and all fall down...

And all the king's horses and all the king's men will not put little LSI together again...

Twinkle Twinkle little star
how I wonder who you are
As LSI you're not going far
Twinkle Twinkle change your car

Yahtze - Days of Our LSIves

And with the power of the Yahtze behind them the mangy bears wish to know if the majority SLCs want to concede defeat at this stage?

Not at all looking Yahtze for the SLCs!!!!!!!

The pot at the end of the Rainbow
'tis not LSI

The goose that layeth the Golden Egg
'tis not LSI

The Grinch that stole Christmas
Yes My Dear that is LSI

---

So accept defeat while thou group have a slightest shred of dignity O leader of the Proud Sinking Lions - the end is upon you and the end will not be pretty. WE mangy bears give you this one chance before we crush LSI like the little Weenie Elmo Baby it really is.

20 7/8 and counting. Tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick...

You know not when, you know not how bad, but the BOOM of a Bloomin' Onion Mushroom Cloud is coming..... And no IBM puny stockback story will save you now - fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

All this mangy evil grinning bear needs is a bit of bad news from the likes of an INTC or a DELL to indicate PC slowdown or the gummy-bears to say HA and swoosh - like the torrent of bad opinion spoils a Bel Air fund-raiser, with the swish of the Fairy GodMother's Wand, the Proud (Supercilious) Lions will be turned into Pounded Submissive Leprachauns rushing for the Exit - O Anastasia - the Titanic that was nothing...

While we Mangy Bears do the macarena, the samba, the Duke Ellington. La cuk-a-racha la cuk-a-racha.... tunka lunka lunka lunka lunka lunk... la cuk-a-racha la cuk-a-racha

(once again this mangy bear knows that the powerful E! is going to kick his butt for this note - but he's just having fun and hopes the mighty E! does not take it the wrong way. Same goes to other long term LSIers who are watching their sector become duck soup.)

E! did you notice that magic 30% number again. KLIC has so far dropped not 20%, not 40% but close to 30% (28%) so far today. This mangy bored bear did not want to point this out in his earlier post to E! but the amazing consistency of this 30% drop in the first day of stocks that get thrashed suggests that the Crash-Bandicoot stock market in total panic mode would pummel any once-hot sector by another 30%.

This mangy bear likes to use this kind of "boundary condition" (old Math knowledge) analysis to try and predict how far weak sentiment can pummel stocks when the fear of problems turns into the knowlege of real problems.
