DD..This $10m investor must really love seeing the company he's investing in getting hammered. Maybe he has changed his mind?

This line of thinking gives me an opening to put a thought on the table. A million pardons if this has already been brought up and discussed. Let's assume there really is a "Sugar Daddy" out there ready to pump 5 mil into this company. A lot of questions have been brought up addressing motives but what about this...Maybe she/he/they have yet ANOTHER 5 mil (or whatever) waiting to invest in share purchases to "play" along with us. They've got the highest trump card, knowing that when the infusion is complete the stock price will rise. This (these) player(s) are not dummies and may want to maximize their investment. So the play is to wait for weak and nervous to exit, letting the price slide so when the move is made (shares purchased cheaper than here) the return will be greater once the infusion is complete and the price rises.

Just something to think about here while we're waiting.
