I agree that income inequality is the biggest problem facing America today. Obama mentions it, but is powerless to really do anything. I think it's part of THIS:

Global corporations, even if they were founded and have their headquarters here, aren't patriotic. They have no morals or compassion. They're corporations, founded on the principle that they will return value to their wealthy shareholders or else. Nothing more.

Because of the things I cite in my link above, I don't see any changes happening until things get really bad. I mean, the income of middle class Americans has been shrinking since Reagan, but I never see that on the nightly news or the front page of the corporate-owned media.

Both our political parties are owned by their funders, and that isn't us. We just get to vote for one or the other or none. I think one is clearly better than the other, but no Wall Street bankers are in jail.
