Yea, interesting…. the fed will be in the spot light HUGE going forward it seems to me. Does it have any bullits left?? If I owned any paper I'd dump it on 'em! Stuff that Turkey like the banks did to FRE & FNM. LOL They are just like Fanny and Freddie were… they're going to be holding trillions in long term paper (plus FNM and FRE are STILL ON THE HOOK HUGE besides the fed balance sheet) AT THE TOP OF THE MARKET! how stupid these people are is beyond comprehension. If theres a loss of confidence you could see them have to buy HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of paper in a single day IMHO just to try and stabilize things. The potential ugliness is mind boggling. I would have a 30 loan on my properties if I could (I have commercial- have 10 year) and don't own a residence at the moment (been moving around). I've said this for years and it's still a smart play. DAK
