Interesting! Quote.com ticker does not show the 30K spike and has the closing trade at 14:00 at 17 1/1th with bid at 16 3/4. I am curious about the discrepancy. Anybody got any ideas? It would seem like a good time for them to start their buyback.

Doug: To me it looks no more than a blip. Other semi had much better bounces toward the end of the day than WFR. Right now 18 seems as a very strong supply area and having made a new low today, I am not optimistic at all. By the middle of next week, I think we may have a two three weeks bounce opportunity and it could test the 19-21 area, but I do not think it will hold.
