Andy, it appears that QNTM is breaking even on DDs. Most estimate QNTM to derive 50% of profits from DLT tape drives, and now QNTM says they will be in .25-.30 range, when .60 was expected. So, it doesn't matter how great the drives are (I have one, and I agree Quantum drives are state-of-the-art), if they aren't making any money, then...what's the point of even manufacturing/selling them? This is tough news because I recommended my sister to buy QNTM at $26. At the time it looked like a great price.
