Mike,,,i read today what some leader in Iran said about American domination,,,something to the effect that, the west is trying to impose materialism and sexual gratification on the world as a lifestyle..I personally admit that I give him credence...I'm not 100% sure we've got it right at all....

If asia does not like western economic domination then thet can close their borders and find another place to sell their goods.
Mike, I think they have no other viable alternative. If the public has its way, they do want IMF loans but on their terms. It was the case with Indian public in 1991 and it is the case (I think) with Korean public now.
