Well, Dear Mr. Network, you can probably give us some lead on those network companies at the same time you join the discussions between those doctors who are more keen in the biotech sector. Like you, I don't know too much about biotech either. Most of my money is in the computer related stocks. For a well divesified portfolio, it makes good sense to have a small piece in botech. That's why I have bought a piece of Depo myself. I am not aware of any other biotech stocks that make me feel more exciting and comfortable than with Depo. Maybe the doctors know more about other stocks. To me, despite the recent small drop in Depo stock price, I am still very comfortable with it, mainly because I thought this new drug delivery system has vast future potentials, and at the same time, the earning prospects from their first drug using this system (DepoCyt) looks really bright. This one drug alone (if approved and accepted by market) can value a much higher stock price, while other new drugs in the pipeline are just free for those who bought their shares at the middle teens. Dec 18 sounds like a judgement day to Depo. If ODAC approves, Depo might show some life (but I don't know how much). If ODAC disapproves, then we are all doomed. If you choose to buy after Dec 18, you may avoid the risk of being doomed; but you may run into the risk of buying at much higher price too (just like what I did in one of my favorite stocks - CKFR). BTW, what network stocks do you feel good at this moment ? COMS, BAY, Newbridge seem all suffering from sales deterioration. Hardware companies found themself in a very hard situation. True ? Would appreciate your opinion on the side line. Good luck to you and your little niece, hope the decision you are making today is going to help her big time many years late.
