Actually Reg, what I had hoped for was a point by point honest response, not full-coverage misdirection like "Developer Studio is a new product". That's wrong. It's an incremental (and not all positive) change, which you would have to expect if people are to have any reason to upgrade. Since you are not a C++ programmer, I hope you will trust me on this one. Actually, a lot of the changes relate to MSFTs plans to take over the Internet more than anything productive for me or my clients.

But none of that matters. Your premise is that Microsoft keeps lowering prices. I showed you at least 5 cases where you were wrong. I don't care whether they have changed the products in one way or another.

Can't you just admit it? You keep saying you can admit it when you are wrong, but we have yet to see you do so, even when so obviously wrong.

I don't believe Microsoft has lowered prices of their software or hardware products on the average.
