>>>Stock certificate become worthless paper all the time. Solv Ex, Bre-X, for examples.<<<

Solv Ex closed at 7/8 today, and traded as high as 1 1/8. Too stinkin resilient, it's not worth .02. BXMNF closed at .005, trading as high as .01, and as low as .001. So BXMNF is not quite worthless. The corporate papers do have some value, as you can buy all the certs on the cheap and construct a company under it without taking it through the IPO stage (I believe DDIM did this).

Yeah, but at the Bre-X stage they're not trading anymore. I was
wondering if there was some minimum limit below which a stock
could not be actively traded. Guess not. I would think that
they would not trade a stock that fell to 0.00, because it would
be free, right ?

Ed:
I'll give you at least $20 for every worthless stock certificate you got. It makes a nice wall paper. i think in a few months, maybe, I will add FIBR to my wall collection, too.
