A note of sarcasm Spillane. You said: The heck with the standards for Gig Ether and other stuff the rest of the world is working on, ADC Telecommunications has invented their own standard. This will surely unseat every company, starting with Cisco. ------------------------- I wish to add that i think this a golden buying opportunity right now. If you think compter networks are going to go by the wayside you are WAY mistaken. With the NC coming out in corporate environments, doesn't it make sense that there is going to be a lot of upgrading of networks?? The only question is who is going to be best positioned for this. Dan, All these new companies talk a good game but as you said "can they make money"? Kinda hard to believe numerous claims. Seems like it is becoming a war of words. If one reads a medical journal one usually has a tendency to become a hypochondriac. In this case, the daily bombarding of press releases can make one paranoid. I have posted numerous press releases, if they seem to be related to MRVC products. Most cases the information is very technical but I thought that most would prefer to be kept informed. I'm beginning to believe the war of words are creating alot of confusion. We have taken advantage of you and Mike to kinda make some sense of them. Thanks for your invaluable responses. John
