Did Your Representative Vote for Another Trillion?

heritageactionscorecard.com

My Congressman (Chris Gibson) voted yes and has a 2014 Heritage Action Rating of 23% ......approaching that of the Democrats. This is the guy that ran as a constitutional conservative.........he got cooped to a full fledged RINO in less than 6 months from his election in 2010. I've had it. I give up. They win.

HERITAGE ACTION POSITION: NO Vote Description The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (H.R.3547), better known as the omnibus appropriations package, increases base discretionary spending by $24 billion in FY 2014. The omnibus takes the country in the wrong direction, both in terms of policy and overall spending levels.

Heritage Action Position On top of increasing overall spending the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending bill irresponsibly increases funding for failing programs like Head Start, funds flood insurance subsidies, and pays for ineffective green energy projects. Additionally, an Obamacare funding loophole could provide subsidies to health plans that cover abortion.
