Dale-

I am sorry to see you gone from SI. Though I did not post much on your thread, I followed it closely for several years. There were a lot of ideas posted here to perform due diligence. Thank you very much.

I did first hear of the old PRC and then the new MHR here, and I have made a bunch on it. Is today the day that it will break out on high volume? I also followed the D shares of MHR here, and it was your postings, Dale, that I was able to pick it up on the cheap when the divvy was suspended due to the accounting issues etc. Your suggestions/thoughts on other preferred stocks were always welcomed, and I did get into some of these and other issues to try to balance out some of the higher beta stocks I have been known to hold <ggg>.

Best wishes always!

Jim

Brilliant move, kill one of the last readable threads on SI. Dale's thread has been the source of many great investment ideas over the past 10+ years. Will the last person to leave this place remember to turn out the lights?

What a f*****g joke!

Uh... what was it that Dale was supposed to have done on this thread to cause this draconian reaction on your part???
I mean, talk about a bolt from the blue... REFR, which I never heard of before, is on this thread exactly twice, once by you and once by Dale in passing, surely it can't be that so what the heck (can I say heck? or will I be banned ) ???????????????????

Like Monty Python said: 'Nobody expects The Spanish Inquisition!"

Gosh...…thanks for nothing. Dale was one of the most consistent and honest gems left on SI and I have been active on SI for many years. I do not know nor care about the specifics involved here but this is just another step towards SI's demise in the future. Thats alright because I have been spending much more time on IHUB and a private message board lately.

I know nothing about REFR, but I do know that Dale has shown nothing but good sense over the years in moderating this Board. He was a valuable member of the SI community and the site is considerably poorer for his absence.

Dale was one of the best posters/moderators on SI. His thread provided me and many others with a plethora of good ideas, and allowed all of us the opportunity to share information with like-minded investors.

Banning Dale may well prove to be the worst idea SI management has had unless the intention is to drive the site into the ground and take a tax loss for investment purposes.

Best of luck with your future endeavors.

Please bring Dale back. He has been a valuable member of SI for years. This is a total shock. I can't believe that it is true..

I have no idea about this matter of REFR, or of Craig and his divorce, nor of the role played by Dale in these matters, but I do believe Dale did a wonderful job in moderating and engaging this thread, a 117k decent posts contribution to SI.

Good luck Dale, Mark, SI.

Rumors? What rumors? What Dale published are documented facts. But do you care or are you just swinging ban hammer to defend yourself, your boss and your ... "friend".

Have fun with your little ménage à trois on SI. Just don't expect anyone else to appreciate your rants about people you decided to ban. It's you who should be banned really.

Did Dale publish some offensive information on this SI thread or elsewhere on SI? As I understand, some of his tweets were not friendly to SI management. But - is this extracurricular activity, using twitter or FB, or some other non-SI outlet a legitimate reason for a ban from SI?

-Tom

I've been a lurker here for quite some time but have never posted.

I find your actions appalling. Again.

I don't know what Dale posted about you (deleted) but the things he posted about Craig were all public information. A simple Google turns up all kinds of things including a google map of his house, for heaven's sake.

Perhaps Craig is as nice as you say but one can be nice and still have plenty of baggage. We are on the internet. Everyone's baggage is out there if it's public record.

Posting such public information certainly doesn't warrant termination of an account. Had he totally made it up, perhaps a slap on the wrist such as a 5 day ban would have done the job. But he didn't so the ban was out of line. I've said it before. I think the constant banning of Dale is more personal than business.

Perhaps he will be given a reprieve once you implement "freedom for all" when bans are lifted according to your poll?

As for N Dixon. She has said more personal things about several people and viciously attacked and even threatened just about everyone that opposed her views than Dale ever did and she posted this drivel on a board that had nothing to do with her stock because her board didn't get enough viewers. Yet she's still here. If anyone deserves a ban, she certainly does. What she did violated TOU big time, several times.

Furthermore, you say you have no interest in said stock. Well, apparently SI does. Didn't Ron tout this stock on Twitter? Why, if he has no interest?

I'm with the rest of the folks on this thread (and others) that Dale has a lot to offer and he should be given a reprieve on whatever day everyone's bans are lifted.

Could you put a link to this "reason for termination" in his profile?

Some of us spent considerable time trying to figure out why he was booted.

Thanks

What a total dickish move. Might as well take my lifetime membership away as well, this website lost relevance long ago. Dale was only person I still read on this site.
