Frank, I don't see anything new there, so my understanding remains where it was. I do see again that Siemens has exclusive rights in telecommunications, an issue that was debated here briefly, and that Siemens expects products on the market in 1998, which is sooner than I anticipated. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long to see how this works! Bob

It sounds like Fonix and Siemens will start manufacturing a product starting in January that will possibly be on the shelves withing 6 months. Is that how you understand this news? If so that sure paints alot better picture than 2-3 years away. To put Fonix technology into a chip in that time frame would lead one to believe that Siemens is quite serious on being a competitor. That announcement yesterday put things into much better perspective as far as time frames and potential.
