Re Danone (DANOY), there is a pretty good writeup from Valuinvest (a Luxembourg value fund shop):
valueinvest.lu

What I like about DANOY is that they have fairly strong organic growth, due to exposure to healthy food categories and emerging markets. What i do not like is the french financial transaction tax and their below average profitability. At 15x forward earnings, it's worth a bet for me, as a portfolio "anchor" stock.

Added som shares to my small MUSA position. While I am not sure about the valuation, due to post spinoff noise in the earnings statement, and the lumpy and seasonal nature of the business, this looks like the spinoff designed to succeed.

Positive aspects are:
1) Solid balance sheet
2) Exited noncore business (ethanol) for a nice chunk of cash
3) They own their real estate
4) Insider buys
5) Low cost leadership, which is important in Commodity business
6) Other companies in the same sector doing well (Susser)

I was one of the folks who rejected Susser, after it was mentioned in this thread. The business did not look that great to me at that time, but look what they have done - it has been an 8 bagger since it was mentioned in 2010, by Dr. Ipsofacto:

So, I an taken a little bit of a flyer on the Spinoff-fairy and hope that good things will happen to MUSA.
