Could he convince Big Wally Mac to up their salaries? I doubt it. Can he convince people paying the "tipped MW" to pay them regular MW? I doubt it.

He can convince pols, tho. Needs to use the bully pulpit more.

Obama has a better chance with CEO's than he does getting anything done with the Tea Party congress. The CEO's are at least driven by reality and the bottom line, as opposed to ideology, at least, the good ones.

He was only able to raise the Federal minimum wage for government contractors. Most minimum wage employees aren't government contractors.

Obama's doing what he can.
