Looks like the Santa Claus rally isn't going to happen. Santa is staying at home this year sitting on the couch and getting drunk while yelling at the TV every once in a while.

Put me in the foolish camp who held on to AMAT ... almost pulled the trigger yesterday. As they say, hindsight is 100%.

That said, AMAT may bounce sooner than we think. I've noticed that AMAT tracks the NASDAQ extremely well. Tomorrow, or perhaps Monday, when the NASDAQ goes back up, I suspect AMAT will follow.

Wishful thinking?
