I don't disagree with your sentiment and some of your points. But where the rubber hits the road, he did not have the votes in congress to get many things done. Simple as that. He could have been Franklin Freakin' Roosevelt and he still would not have gotten much more through that Blue Dog Senate. We'll just have to disagree on that. Meanwhile the next window of opportunity is coming fast: The 2014 congressional elections. Those will be his last chance to put some of his oratory into action.
