Whenever you see the term Zack's Wall Street Recommendation it refers to the analysts who follow the company. It is reported this way all over the internet. It is the one picked up by Yahoo as well.

Click on the following and scroll down, you will see that Zack's Wall Street Recommendation is 1.0 for ACMI.

The 3.0 (hold) you refer to is the Z indicator which is a computer model based on earnings and earnings projections. As you have noted previously on this thread this has been going up for ACMI over the past several weeks from a strong sell to a moderate sell to a hold about two weeks ago.

You will also note that none of the companies I profiled have a Z indicator better than 3.0 (hold). Because of the model they use it's next to impossible for any new up and coming biotech company to have a low Z indicator because they have to be profitable first. I personally find the Z indicator worthless in valuing companies like those in this group. In fact if the Z indicator did reach a 1.0 it would probably be time to sell the stock.
