We've got plenty of wealth here Steve. We're just not sharing the pie as equally as we have in the past. We're shoveling way too much pie to the wealthy, who just invest it, make more money, and invest that. It never generates activity in the REAL economy, as it would if we got it to people who would spend it.

You guys are discounting the new coalition of minorities, kids, women and liberals.

They are going to change stuff. Look out rich people we are coming for your money-lol.

We are going to charge you the right amount for the defense and infrastructure we give you and your wealth!

Here is why I agree; America has adopted the failed idea that we can only succeed economically by continuously growing our economy by having a larger and larger population - largely through immigration. .......That was a great idea as long as we maintained abundant resources to exploit. We have now grabbed the easy resources and to get the rest means such a dumping of carbon into the atmosphere that we are looking down the loaded barrel of global warming. ........Because resources are more and more expensive to extract (ask Wharf about that), we have fallen into the idea - the habit - of borrowing from future generations to maintain a standard of living that we will not give up. That is done by giveaways to the poor (and to a lesser extent working middle class) and corporate America. Bigger and bigger homes with more and more stuff in them and less and less taxes for corporate America.
