What do we do with those that need care but have elected to go sans insurance? Will the fines be enough to offset the costs? Can the "for profit" hospitals refuse them care? Remember the "Let them die" comments? Indigents get care in the ERs and insurance payers/patients get additional charges on their bills beyond what the insurance companies are already paying? Obamacare has done at least "one" important thing>>> we now have a national discussion going and no longer burying our collective heads in the sand. On our ballot in Florida this year>>> For profit hospitals want to close their ERs/Trauma centers being kept open under Reagan law/mandate. Ask your local police/fire departments how they feel about that. RDK
