I'm interested what opinions people have about the Asian turmoil and
how it will affect semiequips short/long term. Short term, what is driving these currency devaluations and credit downgrades, and what will it take to stabilize?
Long term for semiequips I believe demand for chips is what matters. If one region slumps, another will pick up the slack, SO LONG as the demand is there. If Asian economies are hurt, worldwide demand and grwoth in demand will be reduced, but how much..?
