Good to see you don't dispute the facts that dispel his market share misconception.

When you state, "the net deferred revenue actually went down YoY", please source the information on which you base that statement.

Revenue was 6% higher despite a 55% decline in iPod sales and the effects of Abe's Yen policy that turned a huge quarter into an ok one in Japan. Core product net income was up year over year.

In addition, EPS growth from the share repurchase is slighted but, it takes massive amounts of cash to move the eps needle and only they have it. As long as they are generating the extraordinary cash flow that they are, they deserve credit for reducing shares and boosting eps.
