I have to agree with your first statement about people views and also believe that not everyone is here for the same reason.

I also find it extremely tiring to read the same argument repeatedly since it doesn't appear to be going anywhere productive and frustrates people.

I also don't believe that how you've stated your feelings in any way violates the rules of the thread as you seem to be talking about how and what is said and not trying to be offensive or insulting although it might be taken that way.

Herb, Hear hear! I could not have said it better. Then again I can't say anything better than you.

Here's a different, less boring topic. Your insight would be appreciated. This morning, I'm researching display companies, especially OLED. UDC has tons of patents that will make them money regardless of whether iOS or Android devices incorporate more OLED displays. LG is rumored to be making a deal with Apple for the iWatch displays. This would generate some revenue for UDC, but I'm wondering what they're ideal scenario would be, i.e., if they could pick and choose what deals are made, what scenario would benefit them most? Are you (or anyone else reading this) familiar enough with the display maker interactions with mobile device makers to shed some light on this situation? Thanks!

When someone's opinions are intractable in the face of all evidence against them, then it's time to assume that there is an agenda behind them. ... Glacially locked into his own introspective analysis, he falsely pretends to entertain the opinions of others, so that he might amuse himself diddling them with his oafish views.
My agenda is to learn more about the pros and cons of an AAPL (and other) investment to make intelligent investment decisions. Is this different from other agendas here? What is an oaf?
