Hi Eric;

I understand your concern. I cannot give you any
specific info on Asian exposure as I am a Cisco employee
and would get in big trouble to put it mildly.

I would like you to consider one thing before
you make a decision. Look at the AWESOME realtive
strenght of this stock realtive to any number of other
techs or index during this unsettled time. "Big Charts"
web site is great for this. My favorite comparison is
to all the other networkers. Try to imagine what the
market is saying. If you took the negitive market
bias out of the market this stock would be going
through the roof! So I would ask you to first anwser
the question: Are we in a bear market? If you think
no then do not sell. This stock will adjust to its
properly valued level when the Asian contagian has
passed. This is a classic retest of recent lows which
in classic fashion scares the crap out of everybody -
even bulls.

Again - look at the relative charts - there is a message.

-Matthew

P.S. Do not give up those gains only to pay taxes and
put less back to work later - do the math - you may be
better of just riding out a small dip.

<< We all love the stock but see the very real possibility of it falling to the 60's very soon. We
would buy back when the "Worlds" fundamentals get better. >>

You've owned this stock since '93? In other words you must have seen the bear market for techs (including C$CO) in '94 and you must have lived through the decline to 46 earlier this year (another bear market).

What would prompt you to sell now? You're getting all riled up about a move to 60? It was at 46 earlier this year! Won't you have a ton of taxes to pay next April if you sell now?

If your that worried just buy a put for insurance. C$CO may look a little weak now but in 10 years...

Eric,

I really cant see CSCO falling to $60. CSCO should bottom out in the low 70's. Any close below $70 is a serious SELL signal IMHO.
