I agree with you they should have announced this before UK approval. I believe many of the big guys knew about it and took this opportunity to crash the stock. I didn't take any position till UK approval, I bought some on the day of announcement. I doubled my position yesturday and also bougt some june 20 calls. As long as Viagra is not effectice for pshycal problems, yesturdays' action is irrational. I strongly beleive that Viagra will eventually help Muse sales.

Colby, the mgmt. DID WARN about just exactly this kind of
problem in ramping up production. It's all in the last 10-Q.
----------
The Company has limited experience in manufacturing and
selling MUSE (alprostadil) in commercial quantities.
Since the commercial launch of MUSE (alprostadil) in
January 1997, the Company has experienced product
shortages due to higher than expected demand and
difficulties encountered in scaling up production of MUSE (alprostadil). The Company has initiated the build out of
90,000 square feet of additional manufacturing space, and
it is currently seeking a location for construction of a
European manufacturing operation. If the Company encounters
further difficulties with its current manufacturing facility
or delays in completion or regulatory approval of its new
manufacturing facility, capacity constraints could continue
for an extended period of time, which would have a material
adverse effect on the Company's business, financial condition
and results of operations.
----------

Hopefully, we won't have any stupid cry-baby lawsuits
against VVUS by people who didn't do their DD, and
didn't read the SEC filings.

Cheers, David
