Hey Pax....If the competing political parties could discuss ideas as do on this board, most of the countries problems could be solved. Kirk, Sam, Bob Furman and I all have different political viewpoints. But we also accept that others have viewpoints different than ours and just as valid. Today politically, its frowned upon to compromise. For myself I'm always pleased to find others that recognize that their viewpoint is one of many.. Tolerance toward other viewpoints is in short supply. Take the hardline attitudes on Right to life Its hard to compromise on this because there is no half way solution. Now if the people that favored right to life would agree to adopt those unwanted children, that were brought to term, a lot of verbal blustering would come to an end. Don't worry about criticizing me.... just state your viewpoint......and see what kind of response you get. This could turn out to be one of SI's more interesting boards.
