As you know, I have a 16 year old so have a little familiarity with this. First six months with the license she can't have other kids under 20 in the car unless they are family or an adult accompanies. Next six months only 3 other people under 20 Also no driving between 1:00 am and 5:00 am.

That also happened to my daughter right up the street from our house, only it wasn't her driving in the rain, it was another teenage driver coming at her and both cars were totaled. Just considering how badly the cars were damaged, they both got off fairly easy. My daughter had to have plastic surgery on her chin three times and the other girl was in the hospital for two weeks..scary stuff driving in the rain. When I first started driving, I was driving home from the pool (I was a life guard) and it was pouring rain. I turned the corner and did a donut..not on purpose I can assure you. It scared me to death but luckily, no one was coming in either lane.
