Kind of tricky to aim with an unwieldy rifle indoors, don't you think? Not really considering she was aiming at mostly a single point - the door - and that is the same gun used by Eric Harris at Columbine High School. The Hi-Point carbine is as short as they get - so less unwieldy than many other choices. I would also point out it comes with 10/15 round magazines and in her case with three attackers - that's an excellent thing to have. Considering she missed - perhaps she needs 30 or more.
