"I think myth can be compartmentalized where Poker is concerned."

But that is my point. Life can imitate poker. Or as Kasparov wrote in a book title of his: How life imitates chess! Which poker players are compartmentalizing myth (as you say)? Republicans? Lefties? Or both?

Yes, you and I discussed your poker exploits awhile back and your story is the same now, so I believe you as completely now as I did then. But (for example) forcing someone to lay down when you know you can is not the same as being illogical. Regardless of what tools or tactics the poker player is using--in order to win he/she must know and accept the facts (Reality) just as it is--and never how he wishes it were. As you know, the game is more than just probabilities. Much of it is judging human nature and reading and predicting what cannot be seen or known with complete certainty (such as whether or not the whole remaining table will fold to a bluff after an hour of a super-tight posture). But this is all part of the Natural and the Rational world. Probably we are not disagreeing but maybe just coming at it from different directions...
