I've got Obamacare. The formulary for drugs comes FROM the insurance company I signed with. The formularies are different for every insurer, and aren't dictated by Obamacare.

My take is that Humana just didn't want to pay for that drug, and found a way to not do that. It happens every day with insurance companies, which one wag said were in the "denial of coverage" business.

The fact is, with Obamacare you STILL have to buy your insurance from a private insurance company, who's in control from then on. It's not really much different than previous, except I now qualify, get a Federal subsidy, and I know that from the premium I pay, 80% has to go to patient coverage.

I've had to change my doctor, but this has happened to me previously when I changed polices. It's not because of Obamacare.
