All I was trying to do is point out that the reality of purchasing an NC is different from the marketing. When I buy a Java workstation from SUN I will not be forced to purchase a network server much like buying a PC from Dell, etc.. Maybe my node price will be $500 dollars after the server/network investment. I would rather have an NC that does not require a proprietary server to connect to. Is there a flaw in this desire? I am really looking for help in understanding this since Larry seems bent on making this a revenue generator. And after I am not just a critic... I am a shareholder.
