"Just think if the Newtown principal could have taken out the shooter due to having a gun safe in her office."

Sounds like you've bought into the "the answer to gun violence is more guns" argument. Here in Utah, a red, gun loving state, college students can concealed carry their guns to class. HS students are trying to get the privilege.

Yes. I agree with you. Because of the widespread plague of
gun violence throughout this country, it's imperative that
potentially innocent victims, such as yourself and myself,
be allowed to carry weapons loaded with live ammunition
in just about any public venue.

That's why the article, which some thought was written tongue
in cheek, was actually very important - that when you allow the
arming college students like in Idaho (and Texas, etc.) what
exactly are the rules of engagement on when it's permissible
to gun down another, and how far does stand your ground
extend.

I myself prefer a Smith and Wesson 9 mm with a 15 round
clip over a 12 round clip because it just seems like there
are so many more bad guys out there today. If and when
I am called to rely upon it's use, it is my intent to empty the
entire clip in any one situation.
