Well as you remember, I had to buy a new CD drive because my old one for some unknown reason wouldn't read the Q+ CDs. I do have a definite increase in speed from old 8x drive. I don't use the diskbuffer at all, I think my speed in scans is suffient, can't tell difference on charts. Not wanting to live throught the problems of changing drives, I am running short on hard drive space 3 gig. I fact not being a HW type, I am unsure if I could take a third drive.
