I hardly had in mind shooting skills when I noted that, like any population, any largish collection of school teachers and/or administrators would include some folk that you wouldn't wish to give a paddle, let alone a gun. Large scale, national gun control is the only policy that will improve matters. In the meantime, arming everyone in sight is only going to make matters worse.

They can take OURS! It's easy, and it takes very little time. I haven't bothered - my guns stay at home.
