Let's put things in perspective. Is there anyone on this thread who if they owned or had rights to 400,000 shares of THQ (at the $3 to 5 range that Farrell has the rights to his stock) that would not sell 10% of there position at these levels? Lock in a well deserved 350% to 500% gain and let the rest run because they know the company's future prospects? Is there any shareholder who deserves this gain and income more than Farrell? He is one of the lowest paid CEO's in the industry -- in fact his pay is so low on an industry comparison basis that there has often been discussion that THQ could lose him simply because another company offers him much better compensation. Farrell has made it clear he wants to build THQ to a $200 million company in the near term -- we are just over half way there -- if he wants to compensate himself along the way by taking advantage of the huge stock price gains he helped produce -- more power to him --
I see people on this board all the time say things like I can't wait for THQ to get to $30 so I can buy a new house -- well after a couple of years of hard work maybe Farrell wants a new house too -- and I for one hope its a really big one and has exactly the size swimming pool he wants.
