I look out for stocks in my list that are moving big before 9:30.

This week I traded ORCL,VVUS and QNTM because they went to my buy points at 9:30 all at once :-)

I enter the trades about 2 min before 9:30 when the bid and ask stop crossing.

Kristine: trading in the first 15 minutes of they day should only be done if it is at the top or bottom of a gap from the opening. Trading at the opening is suicide. Brokers will eat you for lunch. You have no way of knowing where you will get filled.
