That's German Gold and clearly the U.S. doesn't have it. Ooops. That issue is completely separate from who pays for NATO. By the way since you already said the US spends far more on the military than any other country in the World by far, you've already admitted that I was correct. Any fool can look up NATO expenditures by member country to see that the U.S. pulls nearly the full weight of it, including research and development for weapons systems.
