Hi Entitlement.....good to see you posting here. Lets talk strategy for politicians.

I would think that Republicans would be smart to agree to raise the minimum wage now to $9.00 an hour.

Why?....because it would take the issue off the table for a couple of years.And it would make the Republicans look worker friendly. (believe me...they need friends)

To do nothing sets the table for a much bigger raise because of voter backlash. I think that the Republicans keep control of the House of Representatives, but by a smaller margin.

In many states the minimum wage can be raised by a voter referendum...and who knows how high that would take it. Plus those referendums usually include a cost of living increase (Like Ohio).
