I have studied eastern philosophy, read Siddhartha, meditated etc. I've also studied various religions, schools of magic, astrology, different gurus such as Gurdjieff, etc. After it all, I'm even more strongly agnostic. No one seems to actually KNOW any answers, that they can PROVE. No one has come back from death with them.

I heard an excellent little radio piece that claims we are all born atheists - without any concept of a God or Gods or even a higher power. It's only later that we get the superstitions crammed down our throats, warping our minds.

"You missed the best part."

Sex and drugs and rock and roll was the best part. Protesting the war was the second best part.

"The entire movement was a philosophical movement."

I thought it was a "just do it movement". Those who couldn't, philosophized.
