They would give a hint as to whether the $25B pot set aside for subsidies is adequate. IMHO, that is the big question. I'm sure the CBO will be analyzing this over the next few months, so the data is likely to filter out at some point.

It is the problem with all the anecdotal stories about Obamacare. The right likes to flog stories about losing preferred providers, or having one's rates go up 60% (like mine did) while the left likes to highlight someone who lacked insurance and now has it for $100/month. The anecdotal stories don't illuminate what the aggregate result is. But it will come out at some point (and of course be spun by both sides as they see fit...).
